In an recent Interview, Virat Kohli made it clear that Ravi Ashwin, who is the main stay of the Indian Bowling Line up is fully Fit to play the 2nd test between india and New Zealand, which will be played on Eden Gardens, Kolkata.

Kohli, the Captain of Indian Test Team also made is clear that, they wanted an extra Spinner in the team and that’s why Jayant Yadav was called into the side.

Kohli said, “Ashwin is absolutely fine and Jayant is not brought in as a cover. We had three quicks. So, we felt that we needed an extra spinner.”

So, it is quite clear that, we will see Ravi Ashwin in action against the New Zealanders, who found it difficult to handle the spin in the first match at Kanpur.

Although, Kolkata pitch will not give that much assistance to spinners a sit is  looking like a batting wicket, where Batters will enjoy themselves and go for big runs.

Kohli added, “ The pitch at the Eden Gardens is a typical Eden wicket which offers a lot for the batsmen. As a home team, we look to put pressure on the opposition irrespective of the wicket that was provided to us.”

So, India might go for an additional bowling option to make things easier for bowler son a tough bowling wicket, but it will decide don the morning of the game, by taking a look at the wicket just before the toss.

So, for now, we can not say anything about the playing 11, but there will only one of two changes as KL Rahul got injured in the lats game, so one change will be the forced one, but it will be interesting to checkout who will take his place.

According to experts, Amit Mishra might come in his place to give an extra bowling option and then Pujara might go and Open with Murali Vijay, but we to wait to get the final call on this.
